McRae said the event is spearheaded by Tift Regional’s cardiovascular physicians, which include interventional cardiologists Dr. Paul Murray and Dr. Anthony Burke with Affinity Group; interventional cardiologist Dr. Jonathan Tronolone with Tronolone Cardiovascular; invasive cardiologist Dr. William Hancock with Tiftarea Cardiology; and, vascular surgeon Dr. William Kaiser with Tift Regional Vascular.

TRMC is accredited by the Medical Association of Georgia to provide continuing medical education credits for physicians.   The Southwest Georgia Area Health Education Center (SOWEGA-AHEC), a co-sponsor of the event, is authorized through the Georgia Board of Nursing to provide continuing education credits for nurses as well.

“Attendees will gain broad perspective and detailed insights through focused presentations, panel discussion and interactive dialogue,” said McRae.
