Tift Regional Health System believes in investing in An Evening for ABAC at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.  Four ABAC students are making that investment pay off every day.

Tift Regional invested $10,000 as a Presidential Level sponsor for the annual ABAC scholarship fundraising event in 2018 which resulted in ABAC scholarships for Neel Patel from Tifton, Maricarmen Tinajero from Douglas, Jaylee Bass from Adel, and Kasey Kight from Fitzgerald.

Patel and Tinajero are both nursing majors.  Bass majors in writing and communication, and Kight majors in health sciences.

Tift Regional has already decided to increase its contribution to the ABAC 1908 Circle level for the 2019 version of An Evening for ABAC.  That $15,000 investment will result in six scholarships for ABAC students in the 2019 fall semester.

Sponsored by the ABAC Foundation, An Evening for ABAC is scheduled for Feb. 23 at the Tifton Campus Conference Center. Tickets are $125 for singles, $225 for couples, and $1,500 for a reserved table which seats eight persons. A portion of the ticket price is tax deductible. For tickets, interested persons can call (229) 391-4895 or visit https://one.bidpal.net/aneveningforabac/welcome.

Other sponsorship levels include Titanium for $7,500 which sponsors three scholarships, Platinum for $5,000 which sponsors two scholarships, and Gold for $2,500 which sponsors one scholarship.

Colquitt Regional Medical Center joins Tift Regional as an ABAC 1908 Circle sponsor for the event. Needmore Properties, Synovus and Synovus Trust Company, Sodexo, Allstate Construction Company, and Georgia Farm Bureau are Platinum sponsors.
