The Tift Regional Joint Replacement and Spine Care Center will hold a free community seminar on Thursday, March 21, 2019, 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., at the Community Center in downtown Nashville.

Orthopedic expert Celestine Nnaeto, M.D. with Georgia Sports Medicine will discuss when non-surgical interventions for back, hip and knee pain are appropriate and when a procedure may be needed. This event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited and registration is required. A complimentary meal is included.

“There may come a time when your knee, hip or back pain reduces the quality of your life, and conservative measures no longer provide pain relief,” said Chandler Day, community relations coordinator with Tift Regional Health System. “If this is your situation, there are various options to consider. Dr. Nnaeto is board-certified in primary care sports medicine and internal medicine. He will provide an informative presentation and will take questions from the audience."

The Tift Regional Joint Replacement and Spine Care Center, located at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, is a specialized inpatient unit with a dedicated staff. “The center provides comprehensive education and guidance for patients and their caregivers,” said Day. “The goal is to involve patients and family members in treatment every step of the way to ensure optimal recovery.
