Southwell has announced that rheumatologist Carolyn Felton, MD has joined the Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center of South Georgia in Tifton. Dr. Felton works alongside rheumatologist James Mossell, MD and nurse practitioner Angela VanNortwick, NP-C in treating conditions that cause joint and muscle pain, including:

After earning her medical degree from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Dr. Felton completed family practice and internal medicine residency programs at the Louisiana State University Medical Center in Lafayette. She followed with a rheumatology fellowship at University Hospitals of Cleveland in Ohio. Dr. Felton brings more than 27 years of medical experience.
