Georgia's New House, Senate District Maps Nearing Final Approval

Georgia’s new House and Senate district maps for the next 10 years are on their way to final approval following party debates and public opposition to the Republican-led proposals.
The Statehouse’s proposed 180 districts have cleared both chambers, while the state Senate’s proposal for its 56 districts now awaits approval from the House — likely to occur early next week.
