TRHS to Hold Kick-off to Men's Health Event on July 28th

Join Tift Regional Health System for the annual Kick-off to Men's Health on Saturday, July 28, 8:00 am to 11:30 am, at the Tift Regional Community Events Center.

This event is free and open to the public. Chris Beckham, host of the Chick-Fil-A Football Friday Night Radio Show, will moderate a High School Football Coaches' Panel. Coaches from the following high schools will be on-hand to preview their upcoming seasons: Tift County High School, Tiftarea Academy, Irwin County High School, Fitzgerald High School, Cook High School, Turner County High School and Worth County High School. The team with the most fans in attendance at the Coaches' Panel will receive a donation to their team's Football Booster Club. First prize: $500; second prize: $300; third prize: $150.

TRHS will also be conducting free health screenings for men, including total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides, blood sugar and blood pressure. Orthopedist Kyle Fleck, MD with Georgia Sports Medicine will give a free presentation on shoulder pain and injury. In addition, there will more than $750 in door prizes, including a 55" Phillips 4K Ultra HD Smart TV (must be present to win prizes). Attendees will also have free refreshments.
