Surcheros Fresh Grill Celebrates Company Milestones Opening Second Tifton Location

On October 25, 2018, Surcheros held their ribbon cutting for their second Tifton location on the ABAC campus. With the opening of the ABAC location, Surcheros Fresh Grill now has 10 locations in southeast Georgia. Franchising has now taken Surcheros to the Atlanta area and to Florida, with the opening of the Loganville, GA restaurant in November and Amelia Island, FL before the end of the year.

Surcheros ABAC is also the first campus location. Even though the restaurant is on campus, the public is welcome to dine there as well. All menu items and services offered by Surcheros are available at this location. Located in Donaldson Dining Hall, guests can enjoy sitting inside or outside on the covered patio.

The ribbon cutting was hosted by the Tifton/Tift County Chamber of Commerce, with Chris Cutts, South Georgia Banking Company, leading the event. Several Chamber members and ABAC staff were present for the event. In attendance from Surcheros were franchise owner Luke Christian; Brendan Wiederhold, Director of Operations and Franchising; Dustin Walker and Slade Lott, Independent Owners/Operators for Amelia Island, FL and Cordele, GA, respectively; Jorge Leon, Director of Training; Laura Leon, General Manager, Tifton; Cassidy Abbott, Manager, ABAC; Michael Moffett, Corporate Trainer; Deborah Kirkland, Director of Marketing and Franchise Support; Hanna Roberts, Marketing Manager and Franchise Support; Robert Ellis, Store Systems Support Manager; and, Meagan Carter and Ashlyn Benton, Office Support Staff.

Surcheros serves burritos, tacos, quesadillas, nachos, salads, chips & salsa and bowls in a build your own format. Friendly Tex-Mex, Fresh Every Day is a slogan used to describe the fresh, never frozen foods, and the guest service that is a must for each restaurant. Guests have a choice of over 25 different fresh options for their entrée, along with house made sauces, and a full salsa bar that includes specialty sauces and house made salsas. Each location offers catering services, office delivery and online ordering.
