Commissioners Fill County Positions

Tift County Commission approved the appointment of two residents to government positions – one returning to the seat and the other taking on a new position.
During a relatively short meeting, Tift County Fire Chief Joey Fowler was named the new director of the Tift County branch of the Georgia Emergency Management Agency after its former director, Vickie Hickman, retired.
