Legacy Village of Tifton, a premier assisted living and memory care community serving Tift County, Georgia, has named Chris Beckham as executive director.
Beckham, who has lived in Tifton for over 20 years, most recently served as vice-president of the Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce.
“When my family and I moved to Tifton, I quickly knew I wanted to put down roots here. I am so honored to be serving as the Executive Director at Legacy Village of Tifton, which will allow me to continue to give back to the community that has given so much to my family over the years.”
“My mother has been a resident at our sister facility in Thomasville for nearly two years and our family has always been impressed with the incredible level of care and professionalism she has received there,” he added. “I have seen the same things at Legacy Village of Tifton and I see being part of the management team as one way I can honor my mother and everything her generation has done for us,” said Beckham.
As Executive Director, Beckham will be responsible for strategic planning, operations, team management, and ensuring a high quality of life for all residents in the community.
“Chris brings a unique perspective to Legacy Village of Tifton -- not only as a committed civic leader who knows Tifton exceptionally well, but also because he has personally witnessed the quality caregiving received by a close family member. He is exactly the kind of leader who will make Legacy Village of Tifton a place that every resident, family and caregiver will be proud to call home,” said Janice Patton, Vice President of Business Development of Legacy Senior Living which operates Legacy Village of Tifton.
Beckham’s voice is known to thousands of local high-school football fans throughout South Georgia as the host of the Chick-fil-A Football Friday Night radio show that is broadcast on several stations in the region. The show is currently in its 17th season.
Beckham and his wife, Stacey, live in Tifton and have two sons, Jackson and Chase.
