After entering Georgia's foster care system at age 11, Hannah spent seven years in care and experienced 17 different placements before aging out. As a young mother of three, she faced overwhelming challenges, balancing parenthood with unstable housing, unreliable transportation, and the daily struggle to provide for her family. Despite the obstacles, Hannah never lost sight of her dream of earning a college degree and building a career that would create a brighter future for her children.

Today, Hannah is pursuing her associate degree at Central Georgia Technical College with the goal of becoming a neonatal nurse practitioner. Through support made possible by the Fostering Success Act, she received the stability and encouragement needed to stay in school, navigate unexpected hardships, and continue moving toward her goals. Hannah often says she isn't just building a better life for herself, she's becoming the mother her children deserve and creating opportunities they might never have imagined.
