Tift Regional Holds Veteran's Day Celebration for Staff

Staff Report From Tifton CEO

Monday, November 13th, 2017

In honor of Veteran's Day, Tift Regional Health System held a special ceremony and reception on Nov. 10 for staff members who are military veterans, are currently a member of the U.S. Reserve or National Guard, or have loved ones serving in the Armed Forces.

A moving tribute was held on the TIft Regional Medical Center front lawn followed by a reception in TRMC Meeting Rooms 1-2.   Employees who are veterans received I.D. badge buddies with U.S. flag pins to wear in commemoration of Veteran's Day.  A photo display was also on view in the TRMC main lobby.

At the reception, attendees were treated to a special video presentation prepared by Eddie Senkbeil, Tift Regional's Emergency Management Coordinator and a U.S. Air Force veteran.   Thanks go to Eddie and Tift Regional's Employee Reward & Recognition Team, chaired by Radiology Director Tracie Grace, for organizing this special event honoring the men and women who serve our country through military service.
