Colony Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Mike Smith to Fitzgerald Market President and Senior Vice President.
 
Smith joined Colony Bank 25 years ago and has risen steadily through positions of increased managerial and lending responsibilities.  Because of his skills as a banker, passion for community banking and in-depth understanding of the Fitzgerald market, Smith has honed a reputation as a problem solver among his customers and a leader in the community.

Smith and his wife, Lisa, have called Fitzgerald home for 52 years. Having raised four children in this community, they have three granddaughters and are eagerly anticipating the arrival of another grandson in June.   Smith is a member of Central United Methodist Church and serves as Chairman of its Administrative Board.  Smith also is active in the Fitzgerald community, where he is President of the Football Booster Club and a member of the Fitzgerald Lions Club.
