Spring weather has made an appearance, and sponsors are getting their clubs ready for the Third Annual Supporters Tournament at the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Forest Lakes Golf Club on March 8.  The tournament begins at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start in a four-person scramble format.

Thirteen teams will play head to head for prizes including longest drive and closest to the pin. Sponsorship levels include Platinum and Silver. Platinum sponsorship includes hole sponsorship, lunch and four participant for $750. Silver sponsorship includes hole sponsorship, lunch and four participants for $650.

A four-person team can enter for $225, or individuals can enter for $60. All participants will receive lunch. Mulligans will also be available for purchase.  All proceeds will benefit the Forest Lakes Golf Club Fund for renovations and improvements to the course.

Forest Lakes Superintendent Austin Lawton said Hunter Industries has served as an industry sponsor since 2013, providing over $100,000 in irrigation materials.  Other donors and sponsors include Chattahoochee Turf, Dr. Larry and Debra Moorman, and Brown and Cox, Inc.
