Millage Rates Set for New Fiscal Year

The Tift County Board of Education, Tifton City Council and Tift County Board of Commissioners all voted recently to set the millage rates for the 2019-2020 fiscal year.
Millage rates are the tax rates used to calculate local property taxes and represents the amount per every $1,000 of a property’s assessed value.
