Wednesday, July 28th, 2021
Wild Adventures Theme Park in Valdosta, Georgia welcomes legendary rock band ZZ Top to the All-Star Amphitheater as the Valdosta Toyota All-Star Concert Series continues this Saturday.
“There are few bands as instantly recognizable in style and sound as ZZ Top. Their impressive collection of Platinum-selling albums and hit songs have stretched across generations, and their performance this Saturday night at Wild Adventures will be unforgettable,” said Adam Floyd, marketing communications manager.
ZZ Top lay undisputed claim to being the longest running major rock band with original personnel intact. Forming in 1969, the band’s debut album, ZZ Top’s First Album, reflected their strong blues roots. The hit song “La Grange” brought the band national attention when the album Tres Hombres was released in 1973. ZZ Top toured the globe in the 1970s and 80s, establishing the band’s icon status and releasing genre-transcending smash singles: “Gimme All Your Lovin’,” “Sharp Dressed Man,” and “Legs.” In 2004, ZZ Top was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
ZZ Top will take the stage at the All-Star Concert Amphitheater on Saturday, July 31 at 8 p.m. The concert is included with park admission or a Season Pass.
