City Preps to Issue Package Store Licenses

Prior to voters approving licenses for the package sale of distilled spirits, Tifton City Council prepared for the possibility of voter approval by deliberating plans for standardizing and controlling the issuance of licenses.
The meeting was held before the Nov. 2 election to determine how to issue licenses.
