Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College’s First Tuesday concert on October 1 will feature classical music performed by Fine Arts Department Chair Dr. Jennifer Huang and friends.

“We would like to invite the community to come and enjoy an evening of elegant classical solos and ensemble music,” Huang said. ”This recital will showcase the beauty of shining jewels with virtuoso technique and unique musical interpretation.”

Huang will perform on piano, with Dr. Christopher Walker performing on saxophone and Dr. Kenneth Trimmins performing on trumpet. The program will consist of pieces by composers Robert Schumann, Seymour Barab and Barbara York.

The concert will begin at 7 p.m. in Howard Auditorium.

Other events in the series include the Georgia College and State University’s string orchestra on November 5; cellist Tomoko Fujita and pianist Luba Poliak on February 4, 2025; musicians Maila and David Springfield take the stage on March 4; and “The Songs of Broadway!” closes out the First Tuesday series on April 1.
