Wild Adventures Theme Park in Valdosta, Georgia is offering complimentary admission to first responders and power line workers during Great Pumpkin LumiNights. 

“Hurricane Helene had a significant impact on our community and was devastating for many families across the southeast,” said Adam Floyd, director of sales and marketing. “During Great Pumpkin LumiNights, we want to offer those who continue to serve our communities an opportunity to get away from the aftermath of the storm and create some positive memories with each other.”

Great Pumpkin LumiNights resumes this Friday, October 11, and continues every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through October 27. To receive free admission, first responders and power line workers can show proof of employment such as a pay stub or work ID at one of the park’s ticket booths.  

“Additionally, all guests can receive twenty dollars off general admission to Great Pumpkin LumiNights when they purchase their admission from the Wild Adventures website prior to visiting,” said Floyd.

Guests attending Great Pumpkin LumiNights this weekend will also be able to witness history, as Valdosta’s first drone show will take place on Saturday, October 12. 

“The LumiNight Sky Drone Show is not just about dazzling displays in the sky but also about honoring the courage an support we have seen from our community following the storm,” Floyd. “Guests can look forward to a day packed with exciting rides, seasonal entertainment and delicious fall-themed treats. Then at night, the park will come alive with towering pumpkin sculptures, hundreds of glowing jack-o-lanterns, and the spectacular drone show to light up the sky.” 

The LumiNight Sky Drone Show will debut over the lake starting at 9 p.m. It will feature more than 300 drones forming iconic fall images, familiar Wild Adventures icons and special imagery celebrating the strength and unity of the South Georgia community.
