Southwell Medical in Adel Welcomes Mark Kimball as Chief Operating Officer

Southwell Medical has named Mark Kimball, MBA, FACHE, as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

In this role, Kimball will oversee the day-to-day operations of Southwell Medical and Southwell Health and Rehabilitation, providing executive leadership to staff, managing budgets, improving quality standards, and executing strategic initiatives.

With more than 27 years of healthcare leadership experience, Kimball has held administrative and executive roles at organizations including Phoebe Putney Health System, Archbold Medical Center, Erlanger Health System, and Community Hospital Corporation. A native of Fitzgerald, he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Georgia and an MBA from Albany State University. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).

Southwell President and CEO Christopher Dorman said Kimball’s experience and leadership will be key as the organization continues to expand services and improve patient care.
