Registration open for 2025 ABAC Town and Gown

Local businesses and non-profits will have the chance to welcome students to the campus of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College on Aug. 19 during the annual Town and Gown event.
Town and Gown, which began in 2007, will take place from 4-6 p.m. in Gressette Gymnasium. This event gives local businesses, churches, and non-profit organizations a chance to reach out to students with volunteer opportunities and giveaways.
ABAC’s Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students Alan Kramer said Town and Gown will coincide with the first day of classes for fall semester.
“ABAC Town and Gown is all about building those vital connections between our students and the community,” he said. “It’s a benefit to our students, because it allows them to get to know and love Tifton as the friendly and supportive community we are proud to call home, and it benefits the community by bringing in new patrons and future employees.”
Registration for businesses is $40, and non-profit organizations with proof of 501(c)3 status can participate for $20. Vendors will be able to set up their tables starting at 3 p.m. and will need to have displays taken down no later than 6:30 p.m.
The deadline to register for the event is August 13.
