Dr. Ricardo is the new Medical Director for Southwell’s anesthesia services at Tift Regional Medical Center, Southwell Medical, and all ambulatory surgery and endoscopy centers.

A Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology, Dr. Ricardo has more than 26 years of leadership experience in administering anesthesia, monitoring vital signs, managing pain, providing critical care, and more.

Dr. Ricardo completed anesthesiology residency training at North Shore University Hospital, New York University Medical Center, and Bellevue Hospital Center. Dr. Ricardo also serves as an officer in the Medical Corps of the U.S. Navy Reserve.
