Gas Prices Dropping at Georgia Pumps

Peach State drivers are getting some relief at the pump more than a week after Governor Brian Kemp signed a gas tax bill.
According to GasBuddy, the average prices in Atlanta have dropped to 10 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging to $3.63 per gallon for Monday, March 30. In Atlanta, costs for gas are up to 82.3 cents per gallon, which is higher than a month ago and higher than a year ago, when costs were 66.2 cents per gallon, according to GasBuddy. GasBuddy also reports the lowest price in Atlanta on Sunday, March 29, was at $3.06 per gallon with the most expensive at $4.59. For the state of Georgia, the lowest price on Sunday was down to $2.99, and the highest was at $4:59.
