The Department of Community Development Main Office will be temporarily closed due to necessary renovations that must be made on the building. 

Community Development staff remain onsite and happy to serve residents within the separate cottage building adjacent to the main building. 

Please note the following details regarding our operations:

• Remote Processing: We encourage residents to use our remote processing for permits and payments, however, we can still assist with these items onsite in the cottage building.

• Permits: All permit applications and requests can be found here: https://www.tiftonga.gov/173/Community-Development
• Payments: We encourage permit payments to be conducted remotely, however, we are still accepting checks and cash onsite. Please call ahead if you are making any cash payments - 229-391-3950.

Estimated Reopening: We anticipate returning to our main office at the end of May, however several factors can change this timeline.
