NOW ANNOUNCING Events for Georgia Cities Week!

Georgia Cities Week 2026 in Tifton will be packed full of events to showcase the love we have for our Friendly City! Join us April 20-25 for events that will exhibit the City services we provide.

Monday, 4/20 through Friday, 4/24 - Visit City Hall or Leroy Rogers Senior Center to drop off papers that you need securely shredded. These bins will be located near the entrances in both buildings, and will be available all week long at no cost to our residents.

*While you stop by City Hall, be sure to snap a selfie in front of our photo wall to celebrate the week! 

Wednesday, 4/22, 4-6PM - Rock Painting for Kids, celebrating Earth Day, in the Keep Tift Beautiful Community Garden. The Tifton Urban Forestry Department will also be at the Community Garden with an activity for children to learn more about the importance of trees in our City.

Thursday, 4/23, 3:30-5:30PM - Drop by our table at the Quality Employment Service Job Fair!

Friday, 4/24, 6-8PM - Line Dancing in Downtown! That's right folks, we've got a night planned for our citizens filled with free music and line dancing @ The Yard on Commerce! Come dance, grab a bite from a Downtown merchant or food truck, and enjoy time spent with your friends, old and new, in our Friendly City.

Saturday, 4/25, 8:30AM-12PM - Have some old tires you need to recycle? Bring them to our Free Tire Drop-Off/Recycle Event Saturday morning in the Cato Knight Parking Lot. After recycling your tires, be sure to visit the Tifton Farmers Market!
