Update to Landfill Tipping Fees

Effective August 1, 2026, the Tifton-Tift County Landfill and the Tifton Inert Landfill will implement an increase in tipping fees for each Ton of trash dumped.
This adjustment is necessary to adequately cover the landfill’s rising operational costs and future capital improvements.
To our citizens and neighbors subscribed to trash pickup services, this increase in tipping fees per Ton may slightly increase the monthly billing rates for your individual home or business.
Please contact your specific trash provider for any questions regarding changes in monthly billing rates.
