Fall Frolic Returns to ABAC’s GMA Oct. 10 as Museum’s Signature Fall Event

Fall Frolic returns to the Georgia Museum of Agriculture (GMA) Oct. 10, continuing a year-long celebration of the GMA’s 50th anniversary.
Fall Frolic is a festival featuring family-friendly activities, entertainment, shopping and seasonal attractions. The GMA transforms its grounds into a celebration of autumn with a variety of attractions and activities from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Admission to Fall Frolic is $12 for adults and $9 for children ages 4 to 15. Tickets can be purchased at the Country Store.
Festival highlights include:
- Artisan market featuring locally made goods
- Picking on the porch of the Gibbs House, hosted by Song Farmers
- Hayrides through the museum grounds
- Animals on parade featuring the museum’s new baby goat, Dora
- Hands-on and creative activities
- Demonstrations at the museum’s steam-powered cotton gin
- Stilt walkers and jugglers roaming the festival grounds
- Festival food favorites, including boiled peanuts, popcorn, hand-dipped ice cream and floats, cotton candy, and pork skins cooked over an open fire
- “Tapestry: The Tuesday Colorists” exhibition in the gallery
“Fall Frolic is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy a full day of seasonal fun while experiencing the unique attractions and history of the Georgia Museum of Agriculture,” the event organizers said. “Whether visitors come to shop from local artisans, enjoy live performances, take a hayride, sample food from local vendors, or simply spend a fall day with family and friends, Fall Frolic offers something for everyone.”
Remaining special events for 2026 are the museum’s Haunted Trail, Oct. 29-30; Cane Grinding and Syrup Cooking Festival, Nov. 14; Go Native! Dance and Encampment, Nov. 20-21; and Christmas Tales: All Aboard!, Dec. 2-5 and Dec. 9-12.
