Each year, hundreds of young people age out of Georgia’s foster care system with no safety net and no one to call when challenges arise. However, many of them are finding their path forward inside Georgia’s technical colleges, enrolling in programs in healthcare, welding, logistics, cybersecurity, and other high-demand fields. Commissioner Greg Dozier sees these students across the Technical College System of Georgia and recognizes what they represent: a resilient, motivated segment of Georgia’s future workforce.
